I've played the first one, but stopped after a while. It's just too much of a generic hack and slash. It just seems out of Square's range. But I do enjoy looking at the Grotesqueries. I think those are cool, but the Queen is a ***** to beat.

The Queen is almost impossible to beat. Even with the walkthrough I still lost everytime. Was a fun game though. ^^ Though, it was very very very easy to get very very very very very mad at it and almost break the PS2 in half with a giant stick. xD

I played Drakengard 2 this summer and finished it in 3 days.The gameplay was good enough as I can say and it has a good storyline.
