Now for an update with Dissidia, with your awesome hostess, Vincentre.

The newest trailer, or rather, Dissidia Gameplay Exhibition is out, showing the newest (things we've already seen) moves, that just so happen to look like the Japanese version's. BUt what's so different? There's ENGLISH VOICES NOW.
Yes, that's right. They've dubbed all your favorite characters.

If that's not enough, here's an Actual Trailer where you get to hear some lines from voices you'd better recognize off the bat--at least the protagonist's voices, you'd better recognize.

Review tiem:

Warrior of Light - Seeing as how this isn't based of of anything aside from Amano's artwork, I really have nothing to say about him design-wise. As for voice-acting, Grant George is probably the best pick for the job imo

Garland - Okay, since when did he use a stupid-looking sword like that? Aside from that, the design is fairly faithful to the original, but the voice actor seems to be going over-the-top.

Firion - I'm liking how they're incorporating FFII's horrible, but unique battle system as his methods of attacking, and Johnny Yong Bosch couldn't have landed a better role in Dissidia; the main hero no one really gives a **** about.

Emperor - His design transitioned very well into the 3D semi-CC style, and his voice actor isn't half bad either.

Onion Knight - Default class in classic, but ultimate class in the DS version. Nice pick. The voice actor does get on my nerves a bit though.

Cloud of Darkness - They...turned her into a total skank? What the hell is up with everyone turning into skanks? Voice isn't too terrible though.

Cecil - I really have nothing to say about him. Cecil is Cecil. I really shouldn't be surprised that Yuri is reprising the role of Cecil though, and yet I'm angry. Don't go coming to his defense on how he's a good VA either, because he was possibly the second worst pick of VA to voice Cecil (Johnny being #1), and I can rant to hell and back on how absolutely unfitting the cocky young teenager trying to be serious voice is for Cecil.

Golbez - Like Cecil, nothing is to be said here. Also like Cecil, the VA they chose to voice him in the DS version also reprises his role. The thing is though, I actually like this pick in the DS version.

Terra - This one is more based on Amano's (one of the greatest artists aside from Kaneko and Fujishima) design v the final game design (hence the blond hair v the green), but the voice...I'm just not impressed. It feels so goddamn weak. .-.

Kefka - I've fallen in love with that design tbh. It just fits him so well, and his voice is the perfect match for him too. ~<3

Cloud - Derp

Sephiroth - Derp derp

Zidane - Sam Riegel or Yuri would have been great picks for Zidane, so I have no real complaints here. The design could go without the extra belts though.

Kuja - I'm not even commenting on the design at this point, but the voice actor...oh god...there's no need to make Kuja more of a flaming homo than he already is.

Tidus - New design isn't all that bad, and I think they got the original VA to reprise the role (I think).

Overall: This game isn't looking to be very interesting, though I've heard that (at least in the JP version) that loli Rydia appears in the instruction booklet (still not buying this though).

Too bad character-wise, he's absolutely awful. I'd rather play as Cecil at this point tbh.

Cecil is HARD. At least he's a little challenging to master right off. He can switch between forms after button mashes, which tripped me up a few times. Paladin rules the skies while darkness is best suited on the ground.

Though I gotta say, Cecil had one of the best/epic-est storylines in the game, next to Warrior of Light's badassed-ness.

Yeah. I'm sticking to my Tidus, Zidane (Zi-dahn, or so I learned I was saying it wrong), and Firion.

When you get Dissidia, don't ever lose. They record that stuff. And so I'll forever know that I lost seven times so far.
