I loved the gameplay, and, i thought the dresspheres were cool. the storyline did kinda seem simple. get some spheres, defeat vegnagun, find tidus. the end. i think this game was alot softer than ffx. i kinda hated the conditional turn based battle system anyways. sometimes your enemy could attack more than once in a row too. and all i could do is sit back and watch while my characters were demolished. i did like the aeons though. they were very cool. they helped alot. i actually liked this game and all you haters can SUCK IT. lol ok i didnt mean that. but i still like the game.

Storyline? Simple? IT'S ONE BIG SLUMBER PARTY...that involves Spira being in danger...BUT STILL!!!!

And I understand you like all of that...it's just that I, again, have to point out the severe lack of men in that game. Way too many women, scantily clad at that, and the men were either bishonen, total creeps, butt ugly, or B and C.

And the Dresspsheres were awesome, yes, but the way they usd them as "Dresspspheres" was poorly executed. It was a perfect excuse to make the team look like total ******! I mean...that Berserker Dresssphere just calls out: "Hey! You can almost see the vagina! Just pay a few thousand more Gil to see it!"

I would go, but honestly, people seem to ignore exactly why I hate this game.

Only reason I try to finish this game is to see Tidus and Yuna reunited. Oh, and the battle system's kinda fun. Brother's affection for Yuna is CREEPY, considering the fact that they're cousins. Actually, Brother himself is creepy...

The dialogue(no idea how to spell that) was weird, and the story was pathetic compared to FFX. FFX-2 isn't a complete disaster, but come on! It's Square-Enix, RPG GODS. They should've been able to make something better than this.

FFX wasn't that much of a big deal either, as it was single-handedly the most linear and un-surprising storyline in the entire series. You knew exactly what you would be doing from the get-go, and nothing wavered from that.

I love FFX-2. I don't read into it too seriously, since that's what most fans of the series have done, and that's why they've disowned it. It was an all-girl adventure around the world in order to reunite with an old flame- Vegnagun was secondary.

Yuna is my favourite FF character, and I was touched by her character development in FFX-2. She had grown from Spira's own guardian into an independent young woman who deservingly needed to spend time with friends her own age, as Yuna really didn't live for herself at all, until Sin was destroyed. Before that, she was a pawn for the church willing to throw her life away for ten years of tranquility. So, I see FFX-2's story as the blossoming of my favourite character, on her own, man-less and successful. I hold the true ending to be Yuna flying off with Paine and Rikku, without Tidus, as I believe she finally found peace within herself to continue living without her lost love.

That's it. Seriously. I can understand why some people like it, it had half decent character development, but for f-ck's sake, it's not the best FF game ever. Seriously. This game gets about as much praise and fandom as Sephiroth does. Too much.
