Rare Items

When you win in a battle, sometimes you will get a rare item. Here is the list of the items you can get, its effects and which enemies you can win them from.

Artemis Bow	The best bow in the game.	Kary
Bomb	It teaches Rydia how to summon Bomb.	Bomb, Gray Bomb, Balloon, Grenade
Cocatris	It teaches Rydia how to summon Cocatris.	Eagle, Cocatris, Roc Baby
Crystal Ring	It prevents Sleep, Confuse, and Paralyze.	Red Dragon
Cursed Ring	It absorbs elemental damage, but lowers stats.	Spirit, Soul, Ghoust, Hooligan, D. Bone, D. Fossil
Dragon Spear	It is a powerful dragoon spear.	Red Dragon, Blue Dragon
Glass Helmet	It prevents most status effects.	Evil Mask
Gorgon Sword	This sword can cause gradual petrify.	Black Lizard, Medusa, Gorgon
Imp	It teaches Rydia how to summon Imp.	Imp, Imp Captain, Black Imp, Tricker
Lilith Rod	Casts Drain on opponent.	Lilith
Mage	It teaches Rydia how to summon Mage.	Mage
Pink Tail	Rarest of items, trade it to get Adamant armor.	Pink Puff
Power Vest	Raises strength but only minimizes defense increase.	Behemoth
Rune Axe	This strong axe works well against magic users.	Mac Giant, Red Giant
Serpent Whip	This whip is effective against dragon type monsters.	Blue Dragon
Silence Staff	It cures and casts Silence, and improves the Will stat.	Marion, Sorcerer, Conjurer
Zeus Gloves	Effective gloves against giants, protects against Mini.	Skulls, Red Bones
