Sep 14, 2005 Final Fantasy VII Advent Children is the first sequel to Final Fantasy VII. This is not a game, but a movie. A 100 minutes movie, featuring all the characters of Final Fantasy VII, and it is 2 years after the game.
Though the city of Midgar has been turned into ruins, the people are reconstructing the city. However, a mysterious illness called geostigma torments them. The children in town are the ones who suffer the most with this situation and with no cure in sight, death is appon them. It's up to Cloud, who had stepped down from being a hero, to save them again.
