Talk to Cid and head to the Calm Lands. If you have already trained a chocobo, you'll find the person who tells you if you want to ride one just next from the save point, if not, then you must go south, at the right of the entrance to the calm lands. Talk to the woman and ride the chocobo north. Go across the bridge and down into the valley, save your game, don't enter the cave yet, run to the run until you meet a path, follow it, there you will find the "Rusty Sword", the ultimate weapon of Auron (to be powered up - can't use it yet). Then come back and enter the cave. Explorer the cave, its not very difficult. Be sure to explore everything, you can also check if you have found all items above.

When you reach the last 4-way slit, go to the left and right chambers to get some nice items. Then enter the main room, north. You will now fight Yojimbo.

Yojimbo is an extremely easy fight. His dog attacks you for some minimal amounts of damage and Yojimbo himself will attack rarely, but only for slightly more damage than his pet. You may have some serious problems, if you let his overdrive bar fill up completely, but that wont happen. Just cast haste and don't stop making damage. It should be KO in 4 rounds or less.

Get all treasure in the piece. Then when you are asked what you want, select "To defeat the most powerfull enemies". He will set a price for his services. If you pay him the price he demands, he'll join, but If your short on Gil, offer half the price he demands plus one, example, if he demands 250.000 Gil, offer 175.001 Gil, with this he will drop his asking price. If you abuse of it he won't deal anything. When you get Yojimbo, head back to the warp and go to the entrance.
