Europe Getting Final Fantasy XIII Before US?

Rumors on the Internet are referring to the release of Final Fantasy XIII being set for Europe on 2008 and North America 2009. Final Fantasy Versus XIII is set to be released on December 2008 in Japan and on 2009 for the US. Europe hasn't seen a release date yet for this title.

Nothing is said about Final Fantasy Agito XIII. I sincerely do not think that any of those games will be released on Europe sooner than on the US, although it would be very nice of them. Maybe they are planning a Worldwide release of the games, it has been talked about before, it could be true.
